Allowing grief to break through, and break you open . . . to your own heart.πŸ’šπŸ™

He finally allowed his grief
to break through and expose
his tender true self.

I came acrossΒ Kelly Farley’s website today. I found his story of love so beautiful and heart-wrenching and moving. (You might want to have a little box of tissues nearby.) πŸ’™

This link is his storyΒ of being a man, an engineer, who had grown up believing that “you had to push through [grief], there wasn’t room for ‘weakness’ . . . nobody talked about the pain,” and how, after he suffered a great loss and struggled for a long time with it, how finally he allowed his grief to break though and expose his tender true self.

I know this too.

I know what it feels like to resist and suppress until, finally, the grief breaks you open to your own heart.

I imagine you might know too. πŸ’™

Stories of grief transformed

And here (below) are 4 of my own stories of grief transformed . . . and a few of the roads grief has traveled along with me. All are shared (with much love) in these 4 links. πŸ’™
